Gregory J. ChamberyPresident Greg Chambery is the Administrator of Maplewood Nursing Home, Inc. In this capacity, Greg is responsible for the oversight and management of the 24 hour skilled nursing care and short-term rehabilitative care provided at the facility. Greg directs a staff of health care professionals who seek to carry out a comprehensive plan of health services that meet the special needs of each Maplewood resident. He has 25 years of experience as a New York State licensed administrator. Greg was an instrumental member of the organizing team that chartered and incorporated the Rochester Christian School Foundation, Inc in 1994. He served as its founding president from 1994 through 2004. During his tenure, he established and led the strategic plan that attained initial funding objectives through to the hiring of the Director of Development. Greg is active in numerous professional organizations including the New York State Health Facilities Association and the Genesee Health Facilities Association. He has also served on the council of the Rochester Christian Reformed Church. Greg is an alumnus of Rochester Christian School and has a B. S. in Business Administration from Detroit College of Business. He and his wife, Suzanne, reside in Penfield, NY with their three children, Nick, Kailey and Collin. His hobbies and interests include golf, gardening and snowmobiles. Ronald J. Van HarkenVice-President and Secretary Ron Van Harken is Manager, Manufacturing Division at Eastman Kodak Company. In his current capacity, Ron is responsible for managing and directing the Rochester based operations of Thermal Media Manufacturing. Ron has over 25 years of experience in manufacturing as a Product and Process Engineer, both as Supervisor and Manager. His experience includes a two-year international assignment in Xiamen, China as Manager of Film and Paper Operations. Ron and his family have been active in their support of Christian education. He has served two terms on the Board of Directors of the Rochester Christian School (RCS) and guided the direction of the school as Board President, from 1990-1993. All three of his children, Brian (Rochester, NY), Rob (San Francisco, CA) and Lisa (Calvin College), are third generation graduates of RCS. Ron previously served on the Foundation Board of Directors from 1998 – 2001, prior to his assignment in China. Ron is an alumnus of Rochester Christian School and has a B. S. in Mechanical Engineering from Calvin College and the University of Michigan. He and his wife, Nancy, reside in Webster, NY. His hobbies and interests include hunting, fishing, golf and playing basketball, volleyball and baseball. He also enjoys cooking. Ron is a member of the Webster Christian Reformed Church. Jan R. HuussenTreasurer Jan Huussen is former Manager, Finance & Administration at Eastman Kodak Company. He began his Kodak career in the Research Laboratories at Kodak Park before moving to Kodak Office where he was engaged in Systems & Pricing and Financial Planning. Jan retired after 31 years of service to Kodak. Jan is a Founding Director of the Rochester Christian School Foundation Inc. and has served as Treasurer since its incorporation in 1994. Jan immigrated to the United States at the age of 17 with his family. He has been very active in the life of the Rochester Christian Reformed Church, serving on the church council as elder and deacon. In addition, he has served on numerous committees and service projects in varying capacities. Jan is an alumnus of Michigan State University. His hobbies are travel and photography. He and his wife Judy reside in Penfield where together, they share a great interest in bird life and are avid nature lovers. Johannes J. PorteDirector Hans Porte is Senior Designer at Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, a Johnson & Johnson company. In this capacity, Hans is responsible for the conceptual design of new products and trouble shooting of existing product designs. He has over 30 years of experience in mechanical design and currently holds 23 domestic and international patents. Hans and his family have been active in their support of Christian education. He has served two and a half terms on the Board of Directors of the Rochester Christian School (RCS), serving on the Education Committee and also chairing the Building & Grounds and the Ways & Means Committees. Hans has been involved in coaching soccer at RCS along with general support of the athletic program through the Sports Booster Club. Hans in an alumnus of Rochester Christian School. He and his wife, Kathy, reside in Fairport, NY and have two grandchildren. All three of his children Jason (Grand Rapids, MI), Jacob (Grand Rapids, MI) and Laura (Orlando, FL) are graduates of RCS. His hobbies and interest include golf, volleyball, cycling and woodworking. Hans attends Webster Christian Reformed Church. |
