All RCS Early Childhood Programs:

Preschool 3s:

Tuesday and Thursday (half or full day)

Introduces children to the joy and excitement of learning as students explore, create, and discover through classroom activities and peer interactions

Focuses on socialization, establishing routines, early literacy and numeration activities

Daily visits to playground or gym
Preschool 4s:

Must turn 4 by December 1 of entering school year and be fully potty trained

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (half or full day)

Further encourages students to dig into learning by exploring numbers, letters, colors, shapes and other developmentally appropriate skills to prepare them for Transitional Kindergarten or Kindergarten classes

Kindergarten Prep (Previously Transitional K):

Monday-Friday, 8:25-3:00 (full day)

Focuses on self advocacy, problem solving skills and independence

A modified Kindergarten curriculum (giving them the gift of time)

Special Classes include: PE, Music, Art, and Library
Kindergarten:

Monday-Friday, 8:25-3:00 (full day)

Focuses on building strong foundational skills in reading, writing, and math, science and social studies (full integration into elementary school)

Focuses on self advocacy, problem solving skills and independence
