F.I.S.H. is what we call our Service projects here at Rochester Christian School. F.I.S.H. stands for Faithful In Serving Him. Throughout the year, we have classroom service opportunities for the elementary grades. In Middle School, we have individual projects to help develop servant-like attitudes and behaviors.
We want to foster an environment where our students desire to serve and love one another; just as Christ has called us to do. We encourage our students to notice servant behavior in one another by handing out "High 5" certificates. Our older students will often come down to the elementary wing to help our younger students put on snow gear or you may see an older student helping a younger student at a skating party or cheering the elementary kids on during our annual Fun'd Run. Serving is what we are called to live out daily as Christians and we want this to be evident in all that we do here at RCS.
