Solo Festival

RCS music students recently participated in the Monroe County School Music Association's annual Solo Festival. Students prepare a piece of music to perform for a judge, and are then appraised on their technique, musical skill, and musicianship. Over 500 students from around Monroe County participate in this weekend long event, and we are proud of our students who joined in! ALL of our students received excellent results, and Lizzie Runion was selected as first flute chair for the Monroe County all schools band - a band made up of students who received the highest scores in the county. Congratulations!
