R-pods at RCS

Reflection Pods (R-pods) are multi-age small groups that meet once a month. It is a great opportunity for students of all ages to share in a study together. The older students help the younger students and the younger students basque in the joy of the love and attention.

In one recent Reflection Pod we tried to measure God's love. Ephesians 1 talks about the many spiritual blessings God has given us and a very important one is love. We tried to measure God's love with a measuring cup but the Bible says "How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God" (1 John 3:1). We tried to measure God's love with a tape measure, but the Bible says in Psalm 108:4 that "God's love is higher than the heavens". We also tried to measure God's love with a clock but God's Word says, "God's love is from everlasting to everlasting".

The students then wrote a love letter to God thanking Him for His immeasurable, lavishing, everlasting love. They celebrated at the end by eating a Fruit by the Foot snack.
