How to Apply

Enrollment Steps

  1. Schedule a Tour
    Tours are the best way to get an inside look into Rochester Christian School. Contact us to schedule a tour with our Enrollment Director.

  2. Apply Online
    Applications can be submitted HERE.
    The application fee needs to be submitted to the office before the application can be reviewed. Payment can be submitted HERE.

  3. Interview with the Principal
    An informal in-person or phone meeting will be scheduled with the Principal and parents or guardians to give everyone an opportunity to meet and ask questions.

  4. Grade-level Screening
    Students entering Kindergarten through 8th grade are required to be screened to assess readiness for the grade level they are entering.

  5. Acceptance Letter
    Upon acceptance to Rochester Christian School, a welcome letter will be emailed to you with instructions on how to complete the online enrollment forms.

  6. Complete Enrollment Online
    Upon reviewing the acceptance letter, you’ll need to create an account on ParentsWeb. At this time, you will also send in the enrollment deposit to secure your child’s spot.

  7. Welcome to Rochester Christian School!
    We are thrilled to welcome your child to our school! If you are enrolling for the following school year, you can expect communications to begin in early July. Be on the lookout for upcoming events for both students and parents.

  • At Rochester Christian School, we don't shy away from National Standards, but we aren't handcuffed by them either. So when it comes to Common Core, we take the best and leave the rest. That means a big "yes" to higher standards, challenging curriculum, and deeper learning. What we don't believe in is a one-size-fits-all approach, limiting teacher creativity, or an over-reliance on standardized testing.

  • We do not have a school uniform. Our school dress code is outlined in our Parent Handbook.

  • Yes! Bussing is available through your child’s school district.

  • Yes! The best way to discover the benefits of a Rochester Christian School education is for your family to experience it first hand. Students are encouraged to spend a day attending classes and participating in the many exciting activities that occur during a typical school day.

  • Our students come from over 50 different local churches. Our student body represents a rich tapestry of ethnic backgrounds.

  • Many of our faculty are NYS certified. We require that all our teachers complete a number of professional development hours annually, and we report their qualifications and professional development completion to our accrediting agencies each year.
