At Rochester Christian School, we recognize that we are a tuition-paying community, and we are mindful of the significant commitment our families already make. Because of this, we intentionally strive to limit the number of fundraisers we hold each year. Our two primary fundraising efforts are the RCS Challenge in the fall and our annual Gala in the spring. While we seek to be thoughtful about the number of fundraising requests we make, these events play an important role in sustaining the mission and daily operations of our school.

While tuition covers a large portion of the cost of educating each student, it does not fully reflect the true cost of operating the school. Each year, there is a gap between the tuition we charge and the resources needed to provide a Christ-centered education. We rely on the generosity of our donors, families, and community supporters to help bridge that gap and meet our operational budget.

In addition, we are excited to introduce a Capital Improvement Fund, an opportunity to invest in the long-term care and enhancement of our building. Separate from our operational budget, this fund allows us to plan strategically for improvements such as windows, parking lot upgrades, and other facility enhancements. By building this fund, we can address major projects thoughtfully rather than relying on quick or last-minute fundraising, ensuring our building is maintained and strengthened for generations to come.
